Fooled you all. ;D
If 007 were to wear a watch that was neither an Omega, nor a Rolex, what watch should he be wearing??
And what kind of bracelet/strap?

I've posted three posts to generate conversation and in each hypothetical situation, almost all of you couldn't even fathom the ideas. ;D I find it pretty funny. WHAT IF?

G-Shocks are good ideas; but, I wonder if Seiko will try to get back in the market. They did with Roger Moore, and now that Seiko has the new technology, watches over 5K, it would not surprise me if they tried to get back in whem Omega's contract expires.

In seriousness there are a few lower end makes that have caught my eye recently, the Tissot touch, the TX (a Timex I think which retails at around $500) and a couple of Seiko's.
No way would I be as enthusiastic about owning one as my Omegas but they did catch my attention.

Icarus: Which Timex were you referring to?

That amigo is 'cos the idea of 007 wearing anything udder than a Seamaster would be unfathomable ;D ;D ;D
OK pal
Be well now ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D But all in fairness Bond wore a Rolex Sub in more films than he didn't. So OO7 wearing a watch other than Omega is status quo, for now. Me, I was aware of and liked Omega watches before Golden Eye. I think that it was a bad move for Rolex to ignore the whole marketing thing w/James Bond movies. They lost a bunch of sales and gained nothing in status/exclusivity or what not. To answer the original post, I thinks the modern Bond would wear a military style quartz swiss army watch. Why not? I'd agree. A quality military style or dive style watch. Something that can double up as a knuckle duster.

Icarus: Which Timex were you referring to? txwatches.com/enter.htmlI could be wrong on the Timex thing, maybe its a whole different company. Was sure I read somewhere that they are part of the Timex brand.
