I own two brands that exceed Omega - and are in the same price range: Clerc and Bedat. Now you might argue these brands do not use in-house movements, but the fit and finish on both brands actually is superior to Omega. That's saying a lot! Omega is my yardstick for quality - and it takes true excellent to surpass the brand. But these two do it.

Thanks Boscoe, about the inhouse movements, the modified ETA movements Omega uses or used aren't inhouse either... We could argue though since ETA belongs to the Swatch-group, but the only true inhouse movements are.....Vintage... ;D ;D ;D But I think with the new movement Omega is a manufacterer again..
