I searched WUS for it and got frustrated cuz of all the fallout. I couldn't find it.
Anyone care to post a link, or Oompa, to post it here?
thanks

This is not a review it is a sales piece. While the watch has a nice dial I am not sure I would want to invest the money into that will probably be required. There are some serious issues with Invicta on repair and customer service. While they have done a good job on the sub line, including the swiss, the stuff they are trying to make higher end is dragged down by their mass marketing techniques, especially the watch zoo on ShopNBC - Lupalooza.

I agree that Invicta has some issues but so do all watch brands. Oompa's post in very enlightning and enjoyed by many. Wether anyone feels it's a sales post or review i can appreciate the effort put into this post.
As for debating this we will not. I do not care to see anyone degrade another person's hard work.
Thanks Mike Steg Administrator

Oompa doesn't work for Invicta, nor does he receive commission on pieces that are sold on ShopNBC. It's hardly a "sales piece." I supposed you could question it's objectivity and the bias of the author, but that's a horse of an altogether different color. Oompa himself recognizes this, which is why he called his piece an "analysis." I also agree with Mike - we won't use this forum to tear down the hard word of others. Many have been waiting YEARS for an auto Speedway, and are appreciative of Oompa bringing the first pictures and information about the watch. John

There you go wannabe, you upset the brass so much they tag teamed ya. No one was upset Yachtmaster. We just want to make things perfectly clear, due to what we saw happen to Oompa over at WUS. We wouldn't want to see that travesty of affairs be duplicated here, because we pride ourselves on being friendly and positive! John

Thanks John! By creating a positive atmosphere we create an enviroment that everyone feels comfortable to visit.
Now i agree the occasional complaint or gripe is also positive in these forums as well. But everyone would probably agree that they are sick of individual attacks as seen on a majority of forums these days!
Thats why i am here 2yrs ago forums were fun and enjoyable but here recently alot of forums are very negative!

knowing nothing about Invicta and having still never seen one in the flesh, I found the analysis to be balanced and fair AND informative.
The only thing missing (i think) was the expected price.
Anyone? Anyone?

Anyone? Anyone? I spoke to Jim (Oompa) on this point and the expected street price on this should be between 1300-1500.00 US. JOhn

And I should stress that I am merely speculating on the price. This has been discussed with Eyal, but he is still unsure of the final price when all is said and done.
I would expect under $2,000... that seems like a "safe" assumption.
