Just received my "Origininal" coin edge 8926 from dukeblue. What a deal!! It DOES have the Invicta "wings" logo on the back-end of the sweep second hand (which was a question I saw posted here)so I don't think this is NOS. I think maybe Eyal has realized the popularity of the old "Rolex" style and is manufacturing them again. This time with the new second hand to keep the Rolex lawyers off his back.
At any rate, great watch for a great price!

I was told that Invicta made 500 of the old bezel on the new 8926 with the wings. Ken, did you also notice the larger crown and the old style bracelet?

No I didn't because , while I had bought an original one for a friend, I never really "studied" it. However, it was pointed out to me by dukeblue at Triad watches when I emailed to thank him and convey succesful, undamged delivery. At that time I mentioned the sweephand logo and he mentioned the bigger crown and new bracelet.
I'm not sure when they changed the bracelet as it is the same as my Date-Master GMT (9402) and my S1 (2310). I do notice that my 9402 has a much smaller crown, and I do like the larger crown better.
At any rate, I haven't had a chance to wear the 8926 yet as I am "breaking in" my new Jacques LeMans (military style automatic) with 25j ETA. But, in the drawer, with daily winding, it appears to be running at +5 seconds out of the box.

I'll be interested to see if this latest crop of 9937s also have the larger crown, and logo 2nd hand....I'd love to see that larger crown being used! -John

So far, accurate to +5 seconds per day!!! Wow...great to hear. My new 9937's running a bit faster than that...probably +8 I'm guessing based on observing for less than 24 hrs. But I can regulate it easily to be within COSC specifications. John

Maybe I'm nuts, but I can't get past the Invicta "Wing Logo" on the second-hand. As a result, I purchased an original 8926 just a few minutes ago.
The only thing that had me considering the new one was the larger crown, but the extra $30 was a big factor...and I still couldn't get past the Wing Logo.

Hopefully you got one of the 8926's with the white bezel dot too, and not a green dot. Let us know when you receive it....CONGRATS! John

My 8926 coin bezel (reissue) has the white dot on it. Also, I'm not crazy about the "wing logo" thing on the second hand either, but the larger crown is a definite improvement. I specifically noticed it when I wore my Rollie GMT II the other day. The extra size makes it easier to seat and has more threads to hold it in place - wish the GMT II had a larger crown. And the heavier bracelet is also a great improvement. The gold center links on the GMT II are not solid, they are merely soldered "loops" of rolled gold.

Ok, I received my 8926 Coin-edge 8926 last night.
It's beautiful. To answer John's question about the green vs. white dot, mine looks white. However, I'm not sure if I should be looking for something that is obviously green or not. The bezel dot looks exactly like the dots on the face (that mark each hour).
My confusion stems from the fact that the glow material has an almost imperceptible green tint to it.
Can someone please clarify what I should be looking for in the way of color? Does someone have a picture of the white vs. green dot?
I will post an image here tonight.
Dave.

Hm, ok. I believe mine is green then. But it's very very faint, and I considered it white. I certainly didn't view it as a green glob...
I will take some pictures of it and post tonight, along with my 9762 Speedway (for the appropriate thread).
Dave.
