An old Friend . Still a good looking watch though not worn much, thought I'd give it some wrist time today.

How old is the Gucci? I have not seen that watch in quite some time.

The GUCCI is from 1987. Got it as a Xmas present. Original cost back then was $190.00 I wore it everyday in the late 80's and early 90's. It still really is a good looking watch. I took good care of it, had to replace the strap a few times. Now it mostly sits in the watch box, but I keep the battery fresh always.

Click on images for larger view... My Wittnauer, bought as new old stock in the early '70s. It's probably from the late '50s or early '60s, and is quite large for a gentleman's dress watch of the period, at about 36mm. Gold-filled, hand-wound, non-quick-set date. I only wear it when formality is called for, which is rare in my retirement years.

This one seems to be stealing a lot of wrist time.

I rarely wear the Astrographic Wow, great watch Foggy. I've been thinking about this one or the square version. Any regrets on your purchase, or just too many other choices?
