anyone here have information on these watches ? mainly , I want to know if they are truly Swiss made and if they are of good quality. They look good and have ETA movements, but they sell for around $600 so I am not sure if these are true Swiss watches because they seem very cheap for what they are. I want to buy one for my wife for xmas but before i do i am hoping for some feedback.

Okay, here's my experience with Burett. I bought one for my wife - an auto - she loves it, though it ran fast. I had it regulated. Now it runs slow (lol) and needs to be regulated again. She pulled the bezel off, too, hooking it on a car door. Otherwise, very nice fit and finish. Solid watch. It is, indeed, Swiss Made. But Burett is owned by a South Korean watch company. Hope this helps.

I've got one that I bought about 6 months ago. It is a very nice watch IMO. The case and overall finishing are top notch. It is a nice solid feelign watch as well; even on the sharkskin strap. I think Lior mentioned he would have liked to have bought Burrett as I think they were recently acquired.

Budman Hmm, thought I heard Lior mention something about him acquiring a company over the weekend. I wonder if it was Burrett?

Maybe he finally did. He's wanted the brand for at least two years as I recall. That can only mean good things for Burrett, SWI and watch geeks.
