Ok, I was over at TZ reading a topic on fake Subs. There is a picture posted of a real 16610 I guess, the owner said he did this to watch people pick it apart and tell him it's fake. Well I have a question for our Rolex experts. I have noticed that there are different dials on the subs and sport models with regard to the "swiss made" font under the 6 position.
I have a new "F" 16610 purchased from an authz dealer. My dial is like this one.

This is the same configuration as the 16610 on the Rolex web site. The YMs are also in this configuration.
However, I have also seen many 16610 as well as other sport models that are like this:

Here is a photo of a 16610 LV with a black bezel, the "swiss made spans over 5 short second marks.

All this talk of high end fakes really takes the fun out of it. I live 30 mins. from Rolex Bev. Hills. I took my wife's new datejust in to have a small scuff buffed out, since she works in LA, I told her to ask the tech to check it out to make sure it's real (also purchased from the same authz dealer). The tech asked where she purchased it, my wife told her the name of the dealer and the tech gave her a strange look and said they are a well known authz dealer why would you want us to authenticate the watch? The tech then took the watch and said it would be ready in about 30 minutes.
Sometimes reading up on this stuff can cause more stress. You start hearing horror stories of dealers swapping out 3135 movements for ETAs, really make you wonder.
