Greetings WTF! I've just completed my web review of the Eilux EW-1706 - their new six head watch winder just relased at Basel: www.rolexreferencepage.com/eiluxwood/eiluxsixwinder.htmlEnjoy reading the review and be sure and post you thoughts as a reply to this thread in the General Forum.

Thanks for the review! I am a happy Eilux owner too, but have just a 2 head winder. I read in your review that the turns per day cannot be programmed per winder, that's really too bad. My Eilux has two positions, in one it runs every 4 hours and in two it runs every three hours. This is for both winder heads. It would be nice if it could be set per winder. Fortunately, I have 2 automatics based on the same movement (Valoux 7750) so for now I don't have a problem with the current setup :-) Here is a pic of my winder: Kind regards, Cinq

Not being a user of winders I found the added functionality of being able to remove the units separately to utilise as travel winders quite amazing. Mind you it comes at a price which while remaining competitive would suit others more than me. Nevertheless it's very impressive. Thanks for the review John ZIN

Cinq - I've owned that same exact winder before - and really liked it a lot. How long have you had yours?

Thanks for the review John ZIN You are most welcome Zin - glad you liked it! It's a pretty slick winder.

Hey John - great review! As always, thanks! I think they did a great job on the winder. I agree that a multi-revolutions setting per winder head would be great, but for the price of this can't complain too loudly. A few questions / comments: How do the watches sit during rotation? One of my issues with my current winder is that the watch & mount can "slide" as it rotates. For the heavier watches this gives a slight "bang" when it rolls over & the watch & mount slide down in the bay. On this one, do the watches move once attached to the mounts? Removable bays? - brilliant idea. I could have a winder in every room if I want But seriously as someone who had to send a winder in for service once, it wasn't cheap to ship. Sending one box would be far less expensive & I can still use the others. Tower style. I think I like the tower type better as it takes up less real-estate on the dresser. But, on a tall dresser it may look funky or not reachable. Be nice to see a horizontal version too (though if I was buying I'd buy the tower). Agree - like to see wood grains to complement bedroom furniture. Maybe Cherry, Mahogany & Oak. Overall very nice & looks to be a good bang for the buck, relatively speaking of course...

I had the EXACT same problem you describe with this very loud but pretty winder I once owned. I often came home to the my Orange Monster laying at the bottom of the winder. This scenario can't happen as the Eilux watch heads lock in, and the spring loaded heads firmly hold the watch. If I had to guess on the dimension, about a foot and half to two feet tall, maybe a foot wide, and about 6-8 inches deep. About. ;D I'll have to get the tape measure out when I get home.

Winders? I strap all unused watches to my dog's legs, and as he runs around, they are always wound and ready to use. That little sucker is getting muscles he never had before. Ha! Ha! Just joking-never use them.

I don't have a dog, so here is my winder LOL! Hanging them this high also means the kids won't play with them. It also looks quite mild on the watches. I have seen a pic of a watch in a milkshake blender, called Turbo Winder I believe Kind regards, Cinq
