I bought an 8926.
Most of the differences between the 8926 and 9937 are subtle. However, I was wondering if the weight or the feel of the 9937 bezel is any better. Apart from the smoothness of rotation of the bezel.

Apart from the smoothness of rotation of the bezel. I think you'll find the 9937 to have a bit more heft than the 8926. Additionally, in the redesigned bezel versions of both of these watches, I believe you won't see any difference in the bezel rotation feel. Best, John

What is a 8926? Cheers Aaron The Invicta 8926 is the brand's most popular and longest enduring model (though not without several changes). Here's my review of the old style 8926: home.woh.rr.com/johnholbrook/8926.htmlJohn

I own both a new bezel 8926a and the 9937. I like both very much, but I am glad I spent the extra cash and bought the old style 9937! Thanks, John, your reviews helped my desicion to buy the 9938, which lead to the 8926, 9937, etc......

Apart from the smoothness of rotation of the bezel. I'd like to comment on the statement that the differences are "subtle". Although they may look the same at first glance, I feel that the differences are much more than subtle. To wit: The 9937 has a thicker, heavier bracelet 9937 end link is solid vs stamped 9937 clasp is milled stainless steel instead of stamped 9937 dial is different with "Swiss" marking 9937 movement is ETA 2824 vs Myota (big difference) 9937 Crystal is sapphire vs mineral. 9937 date cyclops is improved over 8926 9937 case is, I believe, a bit thicker Just wanted to point out these not-so-subtle differences for those who may not know.
