I normally don't get to see many watches but I noted an Invicta the other day.Not knowing much about them I had a quick look for their site.(no luck but it was a real quick look)I did find an online authorized dealer and had a quick look. Some of the divers watches are a deadset ringers for the Rolex Subs. Can any body shed some light on them or experiences with them. Oompa I know your keen on them how do they compare with Omega and Rolex for quality.I know the price looks good.

If you haven't done so already, take a look at my personal review site: home.woh.rr.com/johnholbrook/ - I have several Invicta reviews located there. Invicta remains a good value for the money spent, and in many cases, has a very high quality feel. In the last 2 years, their quality control has suffered greatly in order to meet the demand generated by their association with ShopNBC. But an 8926 remains a great way to get introduced to the world of mechanical watches. John

Swiss made auto, SEL's, very thick and beefy bracelet, Sapphire crystal, WR 200 M, etc ... oh yeah, and thousands less than the rollie it's styled after. The 8926 (Miyota mov't) is also an exceptional value at < $100. Can't go wrong either way. A pic of my 9937

That is a great photo and a classy watch for the money.Do they feel like a good quality watch?Ive have never seen them here in Australia but I must admit that I have never looked for them.I think they would make a great everyday watch(mainly for costs). Are they Swiss or Asian?

They make a GREAT daily "beater" watch - Swiss ETA 2824 inside the watch, with "Swiss" on the dial, but no doubt Asian components are also used in its construction (a common practice among watches).
