I emailed Ernie Romers over some psot that were not removed that should have been! I debated with him and got some child like responses and he decided that he would ban me!
Basically they banned John for his post and other things and when some bashing on me took part for supporting John on the Rolex Forum it was not removed i asked Ernie to remove it he didn't so some strong statments on my part none vulgar were sent via email.
Well i tried to explain to Ernie what was going on but to no good on my end!
Well i will miss my friends on wus but i am sure i will see you here! Look for me soon i always have a way !

Mike, Welcome to the club! ;D I think most of the core group from WUS will make it over here within the next month. Heck, our doors have been open but a week, and I'd say we've seen a good many of the good folks from WUS register here. There's a few things that you have to keep in mind about Ernie. The last thing I want to do is bash Ernie - that's not my intention here. These are just a few of my observations having dealt with Ernie over the past few years as a moderator of two of his forums, and a regular participant. Ernie's only human too - he looses his temper and does irrational things just like everyone else. I've never really seen Ernie own up to being wrong on occassions we've dissagreed though. Ernie is from a European culture. I'm not saying that's better or worse....just different. In many cases, we just saw things differently...and I think the cultural difference was a factor. For the most part, Ernie really doesn't participate to any great extent on WUS anymore. He's all about selling watches and ad space on the site. I'm not saying that's good or bad...I'm just saying keep that in mind. Finally, Ernie isn't very objective. If he likes you, you'll receive preferential treatment. If he doesn't, then he's less likely to modify/delete posts which attack you either directly or indirectly, and he's quick to jump on you if you even come close to stepping out of line. It's his site, and he can run it anyway he wants. But Ernie had an opportunity to really over throw TZ as the dominant watch discussion forum, and missed out mostly because of his management style. My advice Mike is to just close that chapter and move forward, learning from your mistakes as you go. There's plenty I could have done differently on WUS. John
