Zenith Grande ChronoMaster El Primero Flyback model. I have never owned a Zenith, but from the research I've done they have an outstanding reputation in the industry and manufacture a great watch.

Awesome watches. I'd like to get something purely dressy and I go back and forth between JLC and Zenith. John

I love my Hanhart Flieger 1939 and my Invicta 8928.

John, I am new to the watch forum, and this is my first time posting, but I have enjoyed reading all the posts...Very nice job on the sites.
I have the Omega, Bond model and love it. Last year I added the Breitling Crosswind and have to admit that it gets the most wrist time. I tend to save the Omega for weekends. But I agree, Breitling makes some beautiful watches.

It just may be my next watch purchase I've got a review (not sure if I'll do a comparative or stand alone) of the SOP. Cosmetically speaking, the watch doesn't grab me like a Seamaster or Sub, but they sure can go deep! ;D John

Ahhh the Bond. I'm going to have to break down and get that sucker one day soon. I have a close friend with a Crosswind and he tends to save it for dress occassions...because of the bling factor, and because its highly polished surface scratches easily. Sounds like you've got a couple of great watches...any others? -John

I am in the market for another watch and after reading your article about the Seamaster and the Trikke, I fell in love with the Seamaster. I tried it on at the jewelers and loved the look, but was disappointed in the weight of the bracelet. Looked great, felt light. I am currently looking at the Rolex GMT II, but am still unsure. As to the pilot bracelet on the Crosswind, it stays pretty bright and a quick trip to the jeweler gets it looking fine in no time. I don't know if this is routine, but the jeweler loves the watch so much it polishes and cleans it for free each time!

That's surprising given that the Seamaster is a fairly hefty watch....I'd say it's heavier (especially the bracelet) than the GMT II or even the Sub. The Dweller is about the same I believe. Sure you tried on the full size auto? John

I did try on the full size auto. It just felt lighter than the Breitling and since I wear the Breitling most days through the week, I have gotten used to that kind of weight on my wrist.

Well the Crosswind is huge, and the bracelet is quite heavy. I can see why the SMP may have felt light in comparison. Doesn't the same thing bother you about the GMT Master II? It's lighter than the SMP. John
