Hi, am new to the forums and am a proud owner of a Seamaster Chrono Diver 2225.80.00. I have been trying to find a photo of the movement just to see what it looks like, no other reason than the pure joy of owning a watch I have coveted for years. If anyone can supply a picture or provide information on the changes Omega make to the Valjoux movement I would be pleased to hear.

Mr 13oots2 A very warm welcome to WTF and OMEGALand. Glad you could join us here. Mr John Wilson I believe has taken some pictures of his Bond chronograph and more importantly of its' 1164 movement. I'm sure he'll be only too pleased to show them to you. In the meantime, hope you'll have an opportunity to have a look around the forum and we look forward to your sharing in the talk and fun we have here Be well now ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

Many thanks for the help and warm welcome, have now managed to find a small picture of the movement and am impressed at the work Omega does to the Valjoux 7750. It strikes me that the 2225.80.00 is a "lot" of watch for the money compared with the work that Tag Heuer put into the movement.

Hello my friend I believe it was International Watch of The Year before too and is regarded to have proven reliability. It is quite a lot of watch in that the case is rather deep. The Seamaster Professional Chronograph 2594.52 is really svelte by comparison. There is a price difference as well of course. Have you had a look at both? I think it would be worthwhile comparing them together. Be well now ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

I liked the colour scheme of the 2225.80.00 and being a rather "deep" lad (polite way of saying fat b*gger) it was an ideal choice. Also the depth reminds me of a pizza pan my dish of choice, hence the size ;D
