interesting Omega Forum Fact

since there have been a fair amount of statistical analysis going on around here lately, i happen to notice a very interesting thing.

The Omega Forum here at WTF has had an average of over 10.5
posts per topic introduced. thats a higher reply per topic ratio than any other branded forum here on WTF... the only forum at WTF with a similar posts per thread rate is the Community Forum.

now I'm sure there are several very good reasons for this, but I would like to think that we all very satisfied with our Omegas and just like talking about them.

While I cannot speak for the Invicta Forum since I rarely venture there now, I think that a lot more Omega folk are buying ever more of their favourite brand if threads and posts here are anything to go by

OK I'm a card-carrying member I'll admit, with great ride and joy too it must be said though you knew that anyway but Omega in my own humble experience is a consumer-friendly company. In addition to that, with a watch for each and every occasion in their range, I for one do not perceive a need to buy anything else

Hey Terry,

I don't know if the board supports such advanced statistical tools, but if possible: Remove the outlier (A Song a Day music thread) from the Community forum's subject pool and then recalculate the average post per thread for the community forum. Considering how many posts that one thread has, your new average/per thread for the Community Forum may calculate to be considerably lower than it is with that one thread included, thus, giving the Omega forum an undisputed victory.

i think its 10.661 Omega to 10.614 for the Community Forum, if my calculations are correct..

I find it amazing the two are that close statistically(posts per topic)

I think that a lot of OMEGALand folk participate in the Community Forum too. Gee Jaay for instance has kept up more or less with the Song A Day thread. Mr Wautersjr supplies statistics and joins in the fun of both forums. Is there anywhere that BoZkoE does not talk. You know what I'm gonna say next, don't you?

And lets hope it stays that way. It's also nice to see we don't have any fighting between forums too. Nothing wrong with light hearted banter, but on some sites the forum fighting can get very nasty and personal.

Well said. That is what I like best about this site. Two people have polar opposite opinions stated in friendly ways. Especially in the community forum. Very nice.
