I was at a dealer in Ottawa on the weekend and looked at an F-series GMTII. I think F is the latest series, no?
Anyway, I noticed the point size of ROLEX seemed larger and that the font seemed leaded out more (wider letters, spaced wider).
Is this a change for the new model year or have I been out to lunch lately?

Is this a change for the new model year or have I been out to lunch lately? I'm not aware of any such changes....my Master II is a Y Series, and I have an F Submariner (yes, latest series). I've not noticed any font changes, but Rolex is famous for small variations like that, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.... John

I wouldn't be surprised either. But there was a definite diff between it and mine (a K series) and they had an F-series no date Sub and an F TT black Sub, which all had the same font as mine.
Either it's a new variation or a mistake. LOL. I read somewhere that Rolex used to have three dial manufacturers but in the past couple of years brought it down to one.
Interesting. BTW, this retailer (the only authorized dealer in Ottawa) said they can't even get SS Daytonas, and that they've only had one Kermit Sub since they were released.
Ahh, market control. ;D

I may be a few months from 40 but my eyes have been 'lasik'ed to 20/10.
Hmmm, maybe it was a fake? LMAO!!!
