is the Day Date. While I like my Submariner and my vintage 6084 very much, I think that my next Rolex purchase will be a vintage Day Date most likely from the 1970s or 80s.

This would be my current pick... but the black DCOG is a contender too.

This would be my current pick... but the black DCOG is a contender too. I really really like the Turn O Graph's looks, but I have not seen one in person yet. Until then, I have to go with the Sub. Such a great all around watch.... good when you are casual, good with a tuxedo. Luke Mayes

It would have to be an SD ! and i could not get the feel of it! I just like a watch with the cyclops on it for the date window! I will agree it is a nice watch though!

I tried on the watch several times and sort of felt the same way. If I didn't have three other Rolexes, I might well have gotten the date sub instead of the Dweller. But, the lack of the cyclops helps give the watch a different look and feel from the others I have which I like a lot. ;D John

Since I only have one, it would have to be the one I have, a black ExpII. Sporty yes, but the sloping bezel gives it a more dressy look, and it has a second time zone. If money wasn't a factor, it'd likely be the Yachtmaster.

I just wanted a black face Sub date but now I must admit every time I see that logo of Mike's the GMT is growing on me more and more. What colour bezel is going to be the next decision. Aaron

I think with the black bezel the GMT and Sub on first glance would look similar. That black and red of yours looks classy,as for the the blue and red(is this the pepsi bezel)for me I think it might be a little loud, although as time goes by it too is growing on me. Aaron
