Any Aussies out there...
I'm planning to get a black dial Seamaster GMT in addition to my white one...
Have to be in Australia again in January for a wedding & was told that the black dial Seamaster GMT's in some shops do not look anything like the current OMEGA catalogue offering. As far as I can tell (based on descriptions from friends who are NOT watch freaks), it has the Speedy bracelet that is on the white dial watch and the watch overall has a low glare finish.
If this is correct has anyone seen it and can anyone provide any details?
Thanks,
Richard.

Hi Richard. The only black Gmt that I have seen had the Bond Bracelet and Two Tone black and silver Bezel. The face to me looked exactly the same as a black SMP. I have heard the black Gmt now comes with the Speedy bracelet. It might be the perfect excuse for me to get up to the jewellers and check it out for you. Mate as soon as I do I will let you know. Thank you, what you said regarding the Seamaster GMT with Bond bracelet sounds exactly like what I've seen in most places. I don't get to the shops much so not certain what's current even though I hear in the USA the black ones are all now on the Speedy bracelet.
Also about those Rolex GMT Master II's...had one for a while and they are nice but a bit flash. Downside is they are recognized by everybody, which in some areas can be a bit unsafe. Would be perfect though if they'd make it with a matte black dial and get rid of some of the gloss, more like a tool watch like the original GMT Masters.
If interested in 24 hour watches though check the Glycine Airman 2000 24 hour only version...not the prettiest thing on earth, actually fairly ugly as watches go, but it's as practical as they get and probably one of the best watches ever made for flying or travelling.
Richard.
