I just purchased a new White Omega GMT sight- unseen. Sadly, I am underwhelmed. I just don't like it like I thought I would. I already have an Electric Blue SMP and it really outshines the White GMT. "UPDATE" Went and tried on a Black GMT today and LOVED it! I'm a happy camper. I sent the white GMT back to my dealer and should have the black in a week or so. I find the black MUCH more legible and the red bits on the black dial are

I really do want another Omega so...my short list *Bond Auto SMP *Black Dialed GMT *Black SMP *Blue SMPc chronograph What would you pick and why? I'm REALLY surprised you don't like the white dial GMT. E-Mail sent. ;D Give us an idea what other watches you have at this point, and we might be able to direct you a bit better. For example, I'm inclined to recommend the black dial SMP, but only if you don't already have another black dial watch...the Bond SMP is a winner too, but maybe you have too many blue watches... Maybe the black dial GMT would fit the bill? John

I very much enjoy the look of the white GMT (an economical Explorer II...at least, that's how I'm presenting it to my wife )........but.......I already have a black dial Rolex GMT II and a blue dial SMP.....the only black dial on my radar screen is a Kermit, but those are mighty long odds. And bigger $$$, too.
Glad that you got what you wanted !...really , both black and white dials are great looking timepieces..couldn't make a mistake with either.

Hi John, Thanks. I am not a picture taker, I have a real old crummy digital camera. I did take one pic a while back, I'll see if I can find it and post it.
I am super impressed with all the pics I see, but have not had the gumption to spend the money and time involved to do it myself ..... . yet. :-)
