Folks,
Where do you send your Seamaster for maintenance? Are you happy with the service? The closest Omega service center to me is in Dallas, wondering if anyone use them before?
Thanks, BH

Go over to my Seamaster Reference Page web site at www.seamasterreferencepage.com and see the article there about my sending off my Aqua Terra for service in Bienne, Switzerland. I think your questions will be answered there. Stick with the Bienne service center. Let us know if you have any other questions. John

John
I'm truly glad for you that Bienne has looked after you watch so well. My experience of them hasn't been that glorious. In fact, they have hardly got off the ground as far as I'm concerned.
Firstly, a sales query to them in February was unanswered. Just under a afortnight ago, I tried to reach them about servicing my AT but to date I have yet to have the courtesy of a reply or acknowledgement of my message. Perhaps I should call myself JBH The Third or something.
Best

if your watch could use a full face lift (overhaul)...bienne is the only place i would use. if the watch is in good shape and just needs a service....i would use a local trusted pro (if you have one that is???)
i've used bienne for an overhaul on a beat up speedy and was VERY happy. like new is how it returned. i used a local shop for a seamaster that was in good condition and was also very happy ( the extra $150 left in my pocket and 1/3 the turn around time made me even happier LOL! )
unless its a co-ax or 33xx....i'm fine with a good local watchsmith if the watch only needs a routine service. omega modified 775x's and 2892-A2's are movements most any professional can do a good job with)
if you can't find a good local guy....bienne would be it for me.

It does take some time and persistence in some cases - I believe they are more responsive to service requests than general sales inquiries... John

Ho Ho Ho
John thank you for your humorous reply. It cheered me up on a Friday morning, just like the pictures you used to post before of the watches you were wearing for the week's break.
Have a good weekend ( and everyone else too )
