I have tried several times (by emailing) to get the Chronometer Certificate for my Seamaster GMT from Omega. I've had no luck yet. Does anyone have a surefire way to get the certificate. I bought my watch used and it came with no paperwork.
Thanks,
Bill Harbour

Thanks, Bill Harbour Bill, Hmmm....most of the people that I've read testimonials from who've been successful in this regard claim that they E-Mailed Omega....I can't imagine why you're running into problems... Are you sending them the serial number of the watch? Do they respond to you at all? John

Hi Bill, Lev is the man to speak to in regards to c.o.s.c. paper work.If you were to email Omega and from what I gather supply all the information on your watch and use a great deal of diplomacy you may be succesful.Otherwise your national distributor may have to be used as a mediator. I will try an email you some details

I would like to get the certificate for mine but, from what I have read, this is not going to be possible for my "grey market" Omega. Is this true? Another site stated you have to send a copy of your factory warranty card which I obviously don't have.

Hi Preston, You may have problems as I beleive you dont need to send a copy of your warranty card but you need to provide proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.(By warranty card and most possibly a receipt)

Yeah, I thought that would be the case. It would have been nice to have the certificate, but I just could not justsify the extra cost of buying from an authorized dealer.

Yes...I've sent them the serial number on the watch. I know the serial number is good because I checked it out with Omega before I purchased the watch.
Dunno how to get the certificate?!?!
