Interesting link.. But you know, even if the highest bid was $5, don't think I'd be even remotely interested in winning it.. The evil aura of anything associated with him is not something I'd want in my house, or anywhere near it.....
I'd be curious to see what it goes for, though I'm sure there are many that will bid quite a bit...

John, I have to ask......
How is this discussion of a rolex up for auction on a non-sponsor (i.e. competitor) website any different than when I was censored for mentioning the Milgauss the other day (on ebay)? The link should be removed for consistency, no?
Also, I just saw an add for Ebay on the header of this forum now (Google ad).....what's up with that? The reason my topic's link was removed was because it was to an auction for the new Milgauss...

Well, since none of our other sponsors are selling Sadam watches, not big deal... ;D Bit of a judgement call, but this seems a bit different in my mind. <sigh>. I have no control over the Google ads on this software...one of the many reasons why we're switching to new software and a new server in about a month.

No interest in such a creepy watch.... Imagine buying the neck ties, knowing exactly what happened to that neck......... Also, wonder why he had so many canes, did he have a walking problem? Oh well, nobody cares.
Also, in terms of the google banner ads, mine right now is something called "Woman Within," something for plus-sized women, I guess..... Explain that one!!!! :-(

I'd take it. I'm not interested in paying any money for it however. Too gaudy for my taste, but it would be fun to put on when I play cards in vegas. Sadaam was scum, but I've learned that it is difficult to be an transparent and just leader in that part of the world ..... at least for now. Don't punish that poor watch for its owner's evil deeds.
I also have a tradition of posting the phrase "hey, free watch" after all of Boscoe's Halloween postings. He had a run of several posts in the general forum where he posted stories of the dead bodies with the watch still ticking.

I am sure someone will purchase it. After all, there were people that still purchase German and Italian material from WWII, and people were racing to purchase OJ's items when it went for auction. Love or hate it, there is always a market for this sort of thing.
