Sold these two and bought these two, fancied a change. My AD, in NW London had an LV and SS GMT-C, if anyone is interested, should still be there this morning.

Hi Adam, the 2254.50 is a fine watch but I doubt i'd choose it over the the GMT II(c) but, that said, you do now have the choice from a nice sports watch and dress watch. If your happy thats all that really matters mate! - they say a change is a good as a rest.

But Why? BTW Congrats! But Why? ;D Tom ;D I reckoned most people would think it was a crazy choice. But I just fancied a change. I have had 3 GMT-C's since they came out, and sold them all. I can't tell you how many LV's. So I thought I'd go for two completely different watches, but two that compliment each other. As GMT16750 said, one for casual, one for smart. Plus with Xmas looming, and the kid having to have the latest of everything or "she'll die" (her words not mine) getting these two for less than the price of the GMT didn't hurt

wow adamb,
I can't say I would do the same were I in your situation. But I can certainly understand the need for change every now and then. My father loved Rolex. Every few months, he went to the safe deposit box got one of his watches out and wore it. It wouldn't take more than a few months for someone to comment on the watch and make him feel guilty, or even threatened, and then the watch went back to the deposit box. So I understand the motivation of wanting to get more "under the radar".
One thing, unless your DJ is white gold, I hope you got some cash/credit from the deal too.
