Greetings Everyone! Please take a moment to check out the new face of THE ROLEX REFERENCE PAGE - www.rolexreferencepage.comI finally bit the bullet and hired a consultant to help me implement a new front end to the site. Please have a look and let me know what you think! Also this month I'll begin work with the consultant on the long over due overahaul of WATCH TALK FORUMS. The current Proboards hosted WTF site will become our archive site as we move to a new vBullentin software based host - our address will remain www.watchtalkforums.info. This will be a tremendous amount of work and a very expensive undertaking. But, after long discussions with our Admin Team we feel this move will ultimately put us on a more even playing field with other discussion forum sites, and provide even more value to our members and Forum Sonsors. Our hope is that the Admin Team will begin beta testing the new WTF site next month with a target date of January 1 to open the doors to the public! Stay tuned for more information!

I love the new look of your new Rolex Reference page. I think that it looks a lot more organized and professional. The only thing that I noticed is that when you click on the link to read your review of the GMT Master II, it takes you to the tutorial of Sending your Rolex for factory service. I think it was a good idea to give it a face lift. Your website is so comprehensive and full of information, the design gives it better justice. Nice job!

There are a couple of small bugs to be worked out tonight! ;D Thanks for the kind words.

John:
Great job. What I REALLY like is the way you referenced the sponsors and called them out on the page. I know many times new members see all the banners on WTF and are not able to determine who is who.
Also, by putting the words (...especially vintage watches Rolex no longer services...) is key, as members get frustrated when Rolex leaves them behind.
Great job.

Looks great John. Now you need to update the page so the main pages have ALL the links to your reviews. There is no link to that SeaDweller vs. Planet Ocean review included in the SD page, and no 1680 page yet. Yep, I go there every week... so I know.

Great site, JH. I enjoyed the articles on the Sea-Dweller, my favourite Rolex. Do I want one - YES! Can I afford one - NO! Never mind - keep up the great work with the new site.
