I am a watch Enthusiast and have 2 ball pocket watches in my collection, Is there a book with the history on Ball watches. I have the book 'A Movement in Time with Breitling & Rolex an Unuthorized History'' by Mark A Cooper, this has about 5 pages on the history, but there has got to be more than that out there? Does anyone know where I can get more infromation. Thanks Oliver

I havent seen a book dedicated to Ball Watch yet..however Ball Watch website and their Owner's Manual and Catalog have a few pages on their history. If you have the BLE's Pocket watches, you definitely have 2 very historical time pieces.

If the Ball Museum Tour ever comes to your area there is a lot to see and learn from the great examples of the Companys history that they show. You can probably contact Ball Watch USA to see if any appearences are planned in your area.

Ball Watch USA CEO Jeffrey Hess is working on the definitive Ball history. Many people know of his famous Rolex book coauthored with James Dowling.
Well, Jeff is also a railroad watch fanatic, and knows minutia upon minutia about the history of BALL.
Another great recommendation if you're in the USA is to check out one of the Museum Tours. Held at Ball retailers, the Museum tour events bring Ball vintage watches, historical documents & memorabilia, and a large collection of current models & Basel releases. It's a great way to learn about the brand, and quite fun too!
