Hi Guys Anyone have info on these watches? Seen a few on the bay and elsewhere but don't know much about this model. I do know I kind of like the look and the fact that it's an auto. - Bob

Warren (wetowne) owns this watch so he may be able to help. Used to own one myself when much younger and they are great watches and represent good value for money. mamas

Nice looking watches, they come in a variety of styles, they had one on the tv networks a few weeks back that was similar to the SMP.
I think the regular seiko 5's are only about 38mm so a little small, the really cool thing is they have a display back, not very common on a seiko. But I think overall they are a great value.

I am actually wearing one right now and I think it's a beautiful watch. For the money, I know it can't be beaten. It is a little small, but is very well made. I have the Seiko 5 Superior, which has a 23 jewel automatic movement, a glassback, a beautiful, blue- textured dial with the day-date complication, and a sturdy bracelet. I think I paid around $70 or $80 for it.

I hope to post a picture eventually. I've actually taken a picture with my camera phone, sent it to my email address and uploaded it to the free image hosting thingy. But now of course I've forgotten the next steps to posting a picture. I'll have to refer back to previous emails that showed me how it's done. Darn you computer technology, and my terrible memory! Now I wish I hadn't had all those beers during my high school and college years! It really does destroy brain cells. ;D

Hi Guys Thanks for the info. I like the display back and the fact that this makes it unique in the Seiko line. Also I'm kind of looking for a different look, smaller might be the change I make. I got to looking at my collection and everything looks like a SUB or SMP! A Seiko with military dial might be the change I need. Thanks again. - Bob

I have a Seiko 5 that I bought on ebay for around $35.00 or so, looks good, keeps pretty good time (a little fast), I consider it a great beater because I wear it fishing... Bang for the buck factor is close to 100%. I bought it from the people in Japan that sell them without boxes, but I think they are reliable too...

I've said it before and I'll say it again...This forum is a dangerous place to be. I just purchased a Seiko 5 SNK615K. I'll post some pics when it arrives.
