Well G-Shocks are well known in Japan since they are the main theme for many collectors...Very reliable and used mainly in military and jobs where the watch sustains heavy use. G-Shocks are made to absorb alot of shocks. I have seen photos of Frogmans that were left in a freezer overnight and you can see the ice on the band and crystal, but the module still working perfectly. Most of my g-shocks only gain 0.5 seconds a day. Rare models dating back to 1983 sell on ebay for the same price you can buy a new Rolex today. You can see them on ebay periodically. I am speaking for the first models that have the g-shock logo. Remember those little square casios? Yes i have seem some of them sell for over 3000USD. But i must admit that even though they are affordable watches, i think they are 100% quality timepieces.
About the Revman , it belongs in the "MRG" division of the G-Shocks. Most MRG versions are the elite of the brand and are very expensive. The new MRG-3000 sells for 700USD and the new MRG-7000 that will be released this month will cost over 900USD. The Revman is a earlier model. I dont know how many models were released but i know it is highly seeked from G-Shock collectors. Something like a Red Rolex Submariner. I got it for astonishing price of 800USD. Now i know most of you have rolexes and omegas in your collection and these prices sound cheap but dont forget that a normal price for a G-Shock would be somewhere around 100-130USD

Thanks guys. I dont know exactly how big the frogman is Adam but when you wear it you feel like you are wearing a solid masculine watch that could take a beating or two with no problem. I get them from Yahoo Auctions Japan (Same place i got my Rolex from) By the way here are the photos a friend of mine took with his Frogmans. This will show you what kind of watch it is hehe ;D modules never stoped working and that night his watches didnt loose even one second.

Anton
I must but shares in Casio at the rate you're going!
I've had a G-Shock since 1999 and I do like it, although it's so bulky and obstrusive I never really wear it - I have to take it off after 10 minutes or so. For digitals, I quite like the slimmer looks of some of the Oakleys. Any experience of those?

to be honest as you can see from my triplets photo, i like this series. Those 3 are different styles and so are these 2. I like the electric blue.. I have alot of blue t-shirts and it will match nicely... cant wait to see them in person... i also want to get this nice futuristic looking G-Shock that will be released this month also the new mrg-7000 is nice but it will be too expensive. (900USD)
