Well, after coming back from the big Breitling Air Race this weekend (What?? You haven't read the trip report in the Community Forum??) I was all pumped to get a Breitling. Actually it all began last year at the Reno Air show. I have to admit there aren't too many Breitlings that I really like personally. I always liked the Superocean Chrono in blue with white sub dials. And I've always like the classic Navitimer. So one of our Forum Sponsors had this nifty Chronomat Evolution with a blue dial and white sub dials up for sale (Hi Greg!! ) so after a phone call, I now have this watch being sent to me for delivery on Wednesday. Here's a stock photo: This will be the first non-Rolex I've bought in quite some time....I'm hoping I like it!

Thanks Scotty my man! So..uhmm....what's the origin of "betta britta Breitling brotherhood" ?? Well, that crazy AstroNUT (Yea, you know which one I'm talking about from OmegaLand) first coined Betta Britta Breitling. I do believe it was a way of saying a Better, (very) Bright Brietling. I added the Brotherhood ;D After all, aren't we all brothers of some kind?

congrats.... very nice watch. I'm still waiting for my 1st BBB.... November 2nd & counting (Blue Face Superocean, not too dissimilar from your chrono evo). Love to see some pics when yours is in. Cheers.

Thanks for that explanation guys...makes sense. ;D I'm hoping to have it by Wednesday - tracking shows it to be in Tennessee right now.

John, Congrats on your Breitling. Geat choice and I think you'll like it. I also like the Chrono Superocean, but I have the inverse of the one you like, silver with blue registers. Either way, the Breitlings are very appealing watches indeed. Wear it in good health. Here is a shot of my latest Breitlings.

Unfortunately no...the watch came last week, but the condition was not accurately disclosed so I returned it to the seller. Back to the drawing board.
