Hi Guys, I ordered the rubber strap for my Super Avenger when I bought it. It came into the AD last week and I picked it up on Saturday. Here's some quick and dirty pics of the new combo. I think it gives it a whole new look. The dial and case really stand out now. It also means that I dare to wear the watch to work, etc now. Rick.

Hey Rick,
Looks nice. I agree gives it a whole new look. But, do you like it as much as the bracelet? I found that when on the strap, the watch looks even larger, almost out of porportion with the strap. Since the strap is thinner than the bracelet, and the watch itself so thick, I didn't like the strap for day to day. Now for activities, or in the pool it's great because the polished bracelet scratches so easily.
So now that you have both, which is the preference you have?

Hi Scott, I definitely prefer the look and feel of the bracelet. Hardly surprising: The bracelet is nearly £500s worth and the rubber strap is £50. The rubber strap has been very useful recently as we have been moving house and I'm sure I would have done the bracelet some serious damage during this. Alas, the rest of my collection have gone into secure storage and given the choice I knew I didn't want to be without this latest aquisition for a couple of months whilst we are in rented accomodation. The rubber strap is as wide and almost as thick as the bracelet but straps always bring more attention to the watch case and face, and therefore make them look bigger, in my opinion.
