OK everyone.... Let's hear it. Which Breitling model is your favorite current model? I know, they're all great. But if you were to have one & only one watch, and it was to be a Breitling or nothing, which one would you choose & why? You can pick any of the sub-models of the model line (SS, TT, 18K, Diamonds, etc.) Let's hear your thoughts!

In my mind, my favorite Breitling is the Navitimer with a blue dial (with markings, not numbers) and steel bracelet. Rich history, top notch quality - looks beautiful This is on top of my most wanted list I have my Omega Speedmaster for the land & roads (and ofcourse space missions ;D), would like a Navitimer for the skies and to complete the series a Rolex Submariner for the oceans What more does a man need? I'm dreaming...

I like the look and size and feel of the SO chrono with Pro II bracelet. It has just the right amount of bling. I have the silver with blue registers and will post pics when I get back from Poenix on Wednesday. My wife's surgery went better than expected and she is doing great.

Hey Jim, Glad to hear the surgery went well! That's great news!!! All the best to her for a speedy & full recovery! On the ProII bracelet, you're right. Its got just the right bling. When I got my SO I really wanted the Pro I bracelet, but now I'm very glad it was on the pro II. Hey CopyCat, A perfect classic! One of my all-time favorites is the exact same config only with black dial. I agree, markers, no numbers... OK everyone else, what's yours? ??

Hmmmmmm.... LOTS of qualifiers available here, too many in fact. Lovin' all of them for reasons applicable to each, but I suppose for all around overall appeal, right now I'll default to the EVO. I would have said B-1 hands down if it was a current model instead of its replacement. And it ain't even a mechanical!! Cheers, Ron

Hey Ron, Figured it would be your diamond Evo or a Navi... ;D you know, I tried to get into the Airwolf & Aerospace, but just can't... The Skyracer appeals to me though. And the Navitimer World for it's size. And the Evo for it's bling. Any the Emergency Mission for it's brute presence. And the Super Avenger for intimidating. And the Seawolf for it's water resistancy.... PLEASE - Someone stop me!!!!!

I voted Chrono Evo. Love the slate dial with the black subs. The diamond bezel is very nice, but too much flash for me. One day...

Hey Scott,
I've voted for the Montbrillant Olympus. Gorgeous and distinctive looks, incredibly useful with the chronograph slide rule, calendar display with moon phase, exactly the right size and that four year calendar just clinches it for me. I'm making myself drool just thinking about it. ;D
Rick.

I love the Chronomat Evolution with blue dial. I also like the Titanium Avenger with black dial Yup, those are 2 great ones.... I haven't voted yet because there are too many good ones.. LOL! So BTW - Welcome to WTF & the Breitling forum Crusher! Hope you make us one of your regular ports here for talking watches So tell us a bit about yourself and/or collection. I see in the daily wrist check you have an Omega Great White GMT. What else you got? Any Breitlings in the stable?

Hi Scott, Yes, I hope to hang around for a while. I never knew there was a forum to discuss watches, I'm glad I found it. I guess you could say I'm somewhat of a very, very novice watch collector, I still have A LOT to learn, LOL..... I have a Tag Heuer Aquaracer (black w/black dials) as well as the Omega Seamaster GMT with white dial (also have a couple of cheaper watches in the stable, Citizen, Wenger, Fossil, etc.). I've always loved Breitlings and hope to get one soon, but there are so many great choices out there....had my heart set on the Blue Dial Chrono Evolution, but was at the dealer the other day checking them out and saw that Titanium Avenger, it looked tough and elegant at the same time, hahaha.....Anyway, just need to keep working the O.T. and will get either or both eventually Thanks for the welcome! Al

My vote is for the SO Chrono. Reasonably priced (at least for a Breitling), rugged Valjoux 7750 based movement so it should be quite reliable, and has a chronograph complication which makes it look more like a Breitling. I'd probably go for the white dial version.

As much as I sold my Navitimer to buy my Olympus, I do miss her so.
