i really like the navitmer range although unfortunately i do not own one. Historically they are up there with all the greats. they are well made and utilitarian looking. I am put off howvere by their bracelts.. i i would prefer a matt finish for such a tool watch..i think the shiny bracelys are rather too bling for my tastes

Well, first I had the white one. When I got it, it was actually really silver and just looked like a big blob of silver on my wrist with the bracelet. So I eventually sold it and got the black Nav. Great watch, but I sort of had this hankering for the even more complicated Olympus. I was accidentally sent the white/silver dial version and thus the pics. I love that watch thought and wouldn't mind owning it someday. So currently I have the black Olympus.
