Dear Chip,
I have one, in S/S with black dial, as follows:
1. ETA 2892 modified with big date display, Breilting B44 2. 100M water resisitance 3. Look the best with Pilot Special bracelet 4. Discontinued model, but in Hong Kong, new old stock still could be found 5. Dial could be in black, white or blue 6. Very heavy and thick 7. Around 42.7mm 8. Dislike the Chronomat model, Crosswind Special is with polished shinny bezel. 9. So far, the only model with big date display automatic chronograph among Breitling watches (except Breitling for Bentley 6.75, which is far more expensive that ordinary Breitling watches) 10. Accuracy - very high, mine is around +5 second per week.
Best regards,
Kelvin

There is a big AD here in Dallas that has a white face one with white or black subdials... can not remember.... and it had the big date. I really liked it. It was listed at 5000 dollars but a discount is customary, or course. Thank you my friend!

This is the now discontinued Crosswind Special. It is an amazingly beautiful (but large) watch. Here is a pic of the one I used to own (taken at Studio Holbrook)
