Steelfish. the colt GMT is great but it's still their entry level watch. Truth be told, I am pretty sure it uses the same Breitling caliber as well. (the $80 ETA movement). I have heard of several reports where the complication has failed on Breitling as well. Personally, I'd buy the Avenger Seawolf and look like an idiot... but if you want to look like a normal person, stay away from the Avenger and buy the Steelfish. The SuperOcean has some pedigree to it. :-)

I'd get the Steelfish too. Great looking watch!

I'm voting for the Steelfish as well. I liked the Colt when I first got into Breitling until I saw just how small it was in person. It's a great watch, but just a little small for my tastes. And with the Steelfish you have a choice of large or XL. You can supersize your Steelfish, although I've yet to see one in person.

I'm biased because I just got a Colt GMT.
I'd say these are very similar watches, the main difference is that the Colt is 40.5mm dia while the Steelfish I believe, is 42mm. Even the price point is almost identical.
I have small wrists so I am a little biased towards smaller case watches although I decided againsts the regular Colts (chrono, auto and quartz) because they just looked too small for me. These, of course, are actually quite a bit smaller in diameter (38mm).
One nice thing about the GMT is the extra GMT hand.
One problem though, every time I wear it, I'm finding myself too cautious about scratching the polished bracelet. Maybe I'll get a leather strap soon.
My suggestion is to try it out and see which one fits. I was dead set to go with a regular Colt Automatic or Chrono, but for some reason the slightly larger GMT just looked better on my wrist. Good luck.

depends on which is comfortable (size fit etc) - both are based on the same Breitling base movement (Breitling 17) and COSC certified.
The colt being a bit smaller may not get banged into doorways as much as the larger models.
Go with the one you like. (The GMT function is useful if you travel alot). The GMT is larger than the earlier Colt models.
good hunting :-)
