So... here I am... going into my local BB&B store to see my friend and look at the Zenith Elite again. And... as soon as I walk up the counter... BOOOM! the biggest thing I have ever seen. The Breitling Avenger Seawolf! It is HUGE. It is UGLY. It is THICK! And I GOT TO HAVE ONE! What do you know about that thing? It would look good on my thigh too! They told me I can take one home for 2.5k out the door. Is that OK?

It makes my 43 mm AT Chrono look like a ladies watch! did I mention that is 19 mm thick??? Short sleeves only. And I am one skinny SOB. lol lol
But this is the second time in my life I saw a watch that I GOT TO have! I need to figure out if the price they gave me is right. 2900 MSRP... 2500 out the door.

You definitely NEED that watch. Everyone's got to have at least one watch that's water resistant to 10,000 ft.

I'm a heavily built guy, so anything less than 42 mm will look decidedly dainty on me.
So when I saw the 44mm Chrono Avenger, I had no second thoughts. I just love it to pieces. Thanks to the titanium, it's relatively light for a huge watch, too.
Upon seeing it on my wrist, a friend said, "If that watch were human, it would smoke cigars." There ya go.

If that out-the-door price includes sales tax, then that sounds about right. The Breitling AD where I bought my Chrono-Matic discounts 20% of MSRP. If yours is similar then the price seems to be in line. If that price doesn't include sales tax then I think you can do better. Man...that's a big watch! -Ben

The Seawolf is a great diving watch Breitling ever has made.
I like to go for a yellow one as you know Titan does not shine. To have a better contrast, yellow dial is nice to have.
Recommend you to get a rubber strap as well, then you have two different watches at the same time.
But titan cannot be re-polished, so if there is any serious scratch, then it will be very obvious.
I haven't checked the list price in Hong Kong for this watch. But as long as you can have around 35% to 40% off the suggested retail price, then could be considered as a resonable purchase.
Best regards,
Kelvin
