I was watching the Avengers last night on BBC America (really slow TV night) and there was an extreme closeup of a Navitimer with the chrono running! The watch was black dialed with white subdials with tri-compax layout. I'm pretty sure it was the Navitimer 806.
The Avengers ran from 1961 to 1969. Who would have thought you'ld see a piece of horological history featured on such a corney old TV show!
