 waiting for my AD to call and tell me the bracelet is in. I wear a shirt and tie daily and the rubber strap just ain't gettin it, if ya know what i mean. And today's shirt is a pink RL with blue pin stripes. I know there are people on TZ who would hunt me down and dewatch me just for having a dive watch on with a tie, let alone a blue rubber strap. |

Yeah sure there are those who would disagree (the purist in me disagrees, but I do it myself all the time!), but there are plenty others who do the same.
In my environment (aviation industry), I can get away with anything. If I worked for a consulting company or a financial institution, I'd be wearing a proper dress watch with a suit.
If your work environment supports it, I say express your own style (but it will look much better on the bracelet)!!

as a chiropractor in a blue collar town there are not too many people critical of my dress. I agree 100% if i were in a corp setting i would at least throw it back on the bros dakota, and yes, the bracelet will be a huge improvement.
