John Holbrook and I were in Las Vegas last year and happened into Bailey, Banks & Biddle. Here in Dayton if you want to try on the $8k Yachtmaster you have to give them your driver's license. In Vegas the woman handed me this $56k watch without even a second thought. I asked if we could take a pic and she said sure. However after the flash, the security guard firmly planted himself by the door until we left. Awhile after we'd been looking at their various brands and not really focusing on one in particular she told me she was going to pick out the perfect watch for me. Ok I said, give it a shot. So she says, "Let me see your legs." I held my short and sandle clad legs up for her to see and apparently from that she picked out a beautiful $30k gold Navitimer. I certainly would have bought it. Well, if I had $30k to blow that is. Apparently your legs can tell a lot about your watch interests. John

Yea, the watch was a little on the gaudy side. There were diamonds everywhere. I don't think the pic even does it justice on how many there were. There were even diamonds on the case back for some reason. It wold have been a good watch for Wayne Newton though. I remember his watch being about that blingy.

John The most expensive watch I have had on my wrist was at the my local AD for Rolex & Omega, I got to try on a rolex meteorite face in platinum no diamonds but still with a $48K price tag, they did'nt want my DL but the salesperson did want me to be seated ( This was at the mall a few miles from where I live) But after I displayed a little of my WIS prowess I got to compare several of the rollies side by side ( standing I might add, I guess that insurance is supposed one at a time) But that Bently is just to Bling Bling, I could go for that look with one of thoose Billagios by David Mermelstien sp? for $399 but I still can't see Painting a big bulls-eye on my forehead, saying "rob me" or "OverCharge me" there are enough expensive watches that are much more subdued.

I'd much rather have something understated like a JLC perpetual in white or rose gold. No one but a WIS would know what it was.
