Here are some of the shots taken of this lovely example of Breitling engineering. Finish is superlative even at the microscopic level. I do apologise for the size of these images - I'll try and scale them down later - but I wanted to convey the detailed finish of this timepiece. I feel privileged to own it as only 1000 were produced and another 1000 black and gold combination during 2003/4 as far as I know. I've owned this one 9 months so far... Detail 1

All the best to you. Hope you enjoy these shots. Any questions about this timepiece I'll have a go at answering... Here is an extract from my 'review' of this piece: "The Calibre 44's movement is based on the ETA 2892/A2 for the Chronometre movement, with a modular chronograph by Dubois-Depraz and big date complication. It contains 38 jewels and is apparently heavily modified by Breitling. I do not know the modification details but the movement is specified to have a 44hour run time before needing rewinding if left off wrist. Otherwise, being automatic is is wound by the movement of the owners wrist."

Mike - I'm afraid these were a limited run of a 1000 and are no longer produced, but they do pop-up second-hand if you try searching. I've seen one on a UK site if you're looking. Maybe drop me a private message if you want details... Cheers Marty
