Well, I gave up on the black Oris I was waiting on and bought Jim's blue one that was in the for sale forum (Thanks Jim ). This thing is really awesome and a fantastic watch for the money. It's extremely comfortable on the wrist. I remember reading over and over comments by TT1 owners saying that it "wears smaller than 44mm". I kept thinking, how the h*ll is that? Now I see for myself. I've got a 6-1/4" wrist and it looks very natural and not too large at all. No bigger or "clunkier" than a SMP. The SMP is finished a little nicer and a chronometer, but for the price difference what do you expect? Here's a quick pic to show the size of the 44mm TT1 vs the Bond SMP. I'd HIGHLY recommend this watch to anyone looking for a watch in the $700 range. ;D I'm starting to feel a little redundant with the Bond and Oris now....they're pretty similar, but I'm not getting rid of either one. Wait till you see whats next....you'll definitely think I'm nuts!

Sam I'm happy to see you finally got a TT1 even if it isn't the one you started with wanting. Great pics.

That is a nice watch. I like it a lot. There is something about a blue dial watch...

Hey Sam, Congratulations again. What are your thoughts on the case as I haven't seen one in person but I am worried by the bulby round look not looking in proportion.(The way the case thickens at the bottom) In some photos it looks good and in some . Cheers Aaron

It looks TONS better in person than in the pics....especially my pics! It has a very nice feel on the wrist. If you like the SMP, you can't help but like the 44mm TT1! You still thinking about that Meistertaucher regulator, or just the plain ole diver?

Hey Sam, I like the Regulator as it is a little odd ball and mainly because of the real neat kit it comes with. I am a sucker for toys.Plus a man can never have too many torches. Cheers Aaron,

So Sam, now that you have had the Oris TT1 for a couple of weeks what are your impressions?
Do you like it as much as when you got it, is the size comfortable for daily wear?

I still like it just as much as the day I got it. It's a bargain of a watch at the price they sell for. Very comfortable for daily wear. I wore it for almost a week straight.

I have no experience with Oris but I like how it looks. It's a brick, very masculine piece!
