Sam, i think that the pointer date looks nicer than the arterlier big date anyway.. so i would personally go for that one dont know about resale value of oris's, although i suspectit would be quite poor except for maybe the diver's which you have on order. First a chronograph.. now a dress watch .. you're diver only status is in jepardy my friend ;D mamas

I would definitely chose the Artelier big date but, if you are a jazz aficionado, you should see this one.

wow that jazz watch is very nice! Does Oris use ETA engines or do they in house movements?

Of the two i prefer the pointer date as I think the pointer date complication is a bit cooler that the big date. But thats nothing more than me personal preference. I will also make another comment with regards to this watch. I have owned two Artiliers, one on strap and the other on a bracelet, and I would go for the bracelet. Its a really nice quality and adds some real heft to the watch, not to mention a really cool look Thanks for the input Don! I'm leaning toward the pointer date...I like the aesthetics more and it's the cheaper of the two which is an added bonus. Almost always we are attracted to the more expensive of two items.
