I ordered my TT1 diver a week ago today. I got it for a killer price, but the seller said the black dial/bezel TT1 diver is on 2-6 week backorder. (This was before we had an Oris Forum and an official sponsor. ) The price I got it for is worth the wait. Does anyone know if these are scarce right now? It seems that they are out of stock at many of the Oris dealers.

Oris must've sold more than they had anticipated. I hate to wait too!

Oris must've sold more than they had anticipated. I hate to wait too! It does seem that they have picked up in popularity in the last few months. If I would have only pulled the triger a week or so earlier when they were in stock.

I have a black TT1 44mm that I bought 6 mos ago and it gets the majority of my wrist time. Perhaps they are getting scarce because the model has been featured in a lot of magazine print ads lately. AND it's just a great looking watch.
Anyone there have a world timer? How do you like the GMT function as opposed to GMT styles offered by other manufacturers?

Thanks for the encouragement on the TT1. I can't wait to get mine on my wrist. This is the worldtimer you're talking about right? It's a sharp looking watch, priced well, and the mechanics behind the second time zone "mini-clock" are awesome. That being said, I still prefer the typical GMT hand seen on Omega & Rolex....especially the Omega.

Just for the record. The Nik of Time website has not been maintained for quite a while now as we are doing a complete overhaul. If there is a particular watch you are looking for it would be best to contact me.
Regarding the TT1 Diver, they are available but I know the popularity of Oris worldwide has increased making it harder to get.
