This has probably been asked before, but I was wondering what kind of cameras you guys use, specs, etc.
I just got a new digital a nikon 4.0 mp 12x zoom, I took some pics tonight and they turned out pretty good, I am happy with the new camera.
What do you guys use?

I use a NIKON Coolpix 4300, 4 mp digital in SCENE mode for those fine close-ups.
In SCENE model, a tripod is a must....either that, or a rock steady hand. ;D

I use either a Nikon Coolpix 4500 in macro mode or a Canon 300D, usually with a 100mm macro lens (which definately requires a tripod).

I use a cheap Cannon PowerShot A60. Surprisingly it is not that bad.
However, give the shots I see posted around here, I'm saving my pennies for a new one.

I'm using a 4MP Canon Elph. We bought it for it's small size for trips and stuff....it's probably not the best for watch shots.

Nikon Coolpix 3200.
For inexpensive cameras, Nikons seem to be the best for macro shots. Even the photography forums seem to confirm.

Just started using a Nikon D70 DSLR (google on D70 for spec sheet) with 105mm micro lens which can get 1:1 optical zoom. The DOF is very narrow though.
Before that Nikon 4500 4MB with excellent macro as close as 5cm which gave good shots - in fact for watch work I prefer to use the 4500 - it's the one with th swivel body.
Also used a Canon IXUS 330 - more PS style camera though.
Cheers
