Well, that makes you wonder what a watch is really worth...
If the insides are as nice as the outside, then I will have to question my current reality.

I continue to be amzed by the quality of these bargains.
The fact that both of mine (non-chrono models) stay within one minute a day slow is just amazing for a < $40.00 delivered price.
I recently kept my sub style Alpha hidden under my shirt cuff for a few jewelry store visits to look at a Breitling and the salesman finally asked to see my Submariner. He was shocked that I would wear a fake but shut up when I told him how accurate it had been running.
Much to his chagrin, I wore the real Yachtmaster when I picked up the Breitling and he asked if I had another fake on the wrist.
Gotta keep those watch sales folks on their toes. I might wear my Black Seal next week when I go see him for a Cartier my wife has been eying. I doubt he has seen one and I plan to tell him it's a fake. Watch shopping can be such great sport.

I agree...these Alphas can be an amazing value for the money. I have 2 and my wife has 1. Mine are running +9/day and 0/day...I guess you could consider it zero. It's lost 1 second over the last 10 days!!! Wife's is running +7/day. I just wonder if anyone has tested the 30m water resistance. I haven't even been in the rain with mine.

Sam I rinsed mine under running water a couple of times before I took some pictures and by golly it's still running and hasn't fogged up. The one I have doesn't have a screw-down crown and also has pushers so I'm not gonna get it much more wet than I already have.

I'm not going to intentionally jump in the pool/ocean with it on, but it's nice to know it probably won't kill it. ;D
