Mr. X or Kurt, Great shot of a really nice cheap chinese watch. My Alpha should arrive next week and having had no prior experience with them I am anxious to see just how much watch twenty bucks can buy. Thanks for posting this.

Hello everyone. I am in need of some help please. I am interested in buying one of these for a "Beater". My problem is this. When I bought my SS Sub, I had to have an extra link put in so it would fit over my hand and wrist. My wrist is about 7-1/2". My hand is somewhat large. My question is will this watch be big enough to fit over my hand and wrist? Thank you all in advance. ;D

Has anyone had one of these long enough to advise how well it keeps time?

For the price, does it matter?

Has anyone had one of these long enough to advise how well it keeps time? I have 2...the black "Explorer II" style and the "Pepsi GMT" style. Haven't had either for more than a few weeks, but initial accuracy is astounding. The EXP II is running +7/day and the Pepsi GMT is running -0.5/day.

With the deployment clasp open, it is 11". For a 7-1/2" wrist, you'll probably have to remove 1-2 links for a good fit...depending on how tight you like to wear your watches. Hope that helps you figure out if it'll fit. I don't see that it would be a problem. I have 6 links I don't need...If you need an extra, I can send you one or two.

I received me Alpha Master II with black/red bezel today. ;D Seems like a nice watch. It has some weight to it which I like. I'm happy.

I got my "Explorer" yesterday and I'm having to send it back because it won't stay running. My "Daytona" runs great no problems.

I got my "Pepsi GMT" Alpha about a week ago. All I can say is "Wow!".
I've worn it every day to test it out, and this is what I've found:
It keeps amazingly good time--certainly better than my Invictas. After a week, it's only off by a couple of seconds.
It has a mineral crystal and a finely machined bezel. The bezel turns better than my Invictas.
The Crown size is about the same as that of my Invicta 8026. The stem seems a little fragile, and I didn't have confidence in it when I was turning it to adjust the date/time.
The automatic movement sounds "rough" when you manually "spin" the watch and listen to it, but it obviously works because I haven't wound it in a week.
The band is supposed to be stainless steel, but it feels like aluminum--very light. The body of the watch is another matter. It gives the watch a satisfying heft to it that feels very good on the wrist or in the hand. Another nice touch is the smooth edges of the band...I was expecting them to be less refined. The band is entirely brushed and the connection to the watch-body is a flawless fit. It almost looks like solid end links.
The band has a deployment clasp! Maybe not a big deal to some people, but I thought it was a very nice touch considering the price ($20 + $18 shipping = $38 door to door). The band locks well and feels very secure.
My watch looks exactly like Sam's previous photo of the Pepsi GMT, so I won't post one here...his was excellent.
If this watch continues to perform this well, I will be buying more of them. I'm amazed.
Dave.
