The watch is a Ventura. They make several different models. The V-Sparc, V-tronic and also an automatic movement. You don't hear very much about them but I've heard they are pretty good watches.

JBH - that background is the Matrix DVD box set. ;D
The ventura is a nice watch, although the strap it's on is pretty junky.
I just need to get a light-box set up. Taking good pics of a curved-case like the ventura is tough with direct lighting
