What kind of camera do you use? I assume its digital? You may have created a new hobby for me, my wife will kill me but i will blame you. ;D. What do i need to get started? Thanks

Thanks Hi David, I'll warn you right now - it would cost in the neighborhood of 3k to duplicate my photo equipment. The only way I can justify it is because I do paid freelance work. ;D I'm currently shooting with a Canon 20D DSLR, and I use a 100mm USM Macro. I recommend you start out with a +/- $300.00 digital camera from Nikon or Canon. From there, you can move up if needed.

I use a Nikon Coolpix 4500 which you can pic up bottom dollar because they've been out a while now. They take excellent closeup. Not the fastest camera in the world but then this doesn;t matter for macro work.. - you can get awesume pics and I think there have been previous disussions of light boxes made from boxes and plastic carrier bags for effectively no cost...

I just bought a Nikon Coolpix 5400 about 2 weeks ago and have been playing with it since. Also there is a $200.00 rebate if you buy by March 31st.
