I'm wondering if I'm relying on props too much in my shots. I enjoy using them as it enables me too create some added visual interest in the composition and also allows me to create a theme that relates to the individual watch. But I think I might be overdoing it. When is enough enough? I'm still learning and any thoughts you guys might have are appreciated.

I've never thought you were overdoing the props. Quite the contrary, I think you do it quite well. Actually, that's an element that's been missing from my photos lately that I want to go back to.

I would have to agree. The props you use don't detract from the watch and provide a ton of visual intrest.
Personally the props tell a story. I especially liked the "poor man" watch photo...
Hope to see a lot more from you....
Cheers, Henry

No way. You're setting a mood and telling a story. Keep it up!
