For those of you wanting to improve your shots I suggest building a simple light tent. At first I thought I didn't need one, boy was I wrong! I made one from pvc pipe and garbage bags and it works pretty well. I 've been using a combination of outside light and bounce flash inside the tent. Look at this, it ain't pretty but it works and it'll work for you too. Not much effort involved at all. home.comcast.net/~wetowne/wsb/setup.jpg[/img] And you can get results like this, it ain't rocket science, believe me. home.comcast.net/~wetowne/wsb/results.jpg[/img]

How big is your light tent? - Bob The pipe lengths are fifteen inches. I got the three way corner connectors and the snap clamps that hold the plastic on the frame from a green house supply company on the web and I bougth the pvc pipe locally. It's very adaptable I have longer cut pipe so I can configure it at 20 inches and I can use any kind of diffusion material on the outside, fabric, plastic bags or whatever.

Hi Wetowne,
Thank you so much! I like the way your light tent looks (looks like something I could do). Off to the store!

Hi wetowne.... What kind of bulbs do you use in the lamps ? How may watts ? Cheers, Henry They're daylight balanced curley-q type fluorescents rated at 12W but equivalent to 75W incandescents. I also use diffused bounce flash in most of my shots in addition to the lamps which seems to work pretty well.
