Hello, I shot this as a joke, sort of a spoof on the Rolex and Chivas shots but it does make somewhat of a statement concerning my frugality. I made a light tent out of pvc pipe and a bedsheet. There are two daylight balanced flourescent bulbs in cheap gooseneck lamps on the side of the tent and I used a fill flash pointed inside towards the top of the tent. I am finding this whole lighting thing a bit tricky but I am having fun. BTW the watch is a 10 year old Swiss Army Lancer, toughest little watch I have ever owned. It was my daily beater for nine years when the bracelet finally fell apart I put it on a NATO and into semi-retirement.

I love it..actually everything about it. Good job! Well thank you very much. I am having a lot of fun learning how to do macro studio shots. Here's one that I entered in the monthly Invicta photo contest it's a little more on the serious side. It was done today, right after I did the beer shot, just used a dark background instead.

These are great!
I especially like the "Poor Mans". I think you should enter it into a contest.
Dave.
