Notice that you have a "yellow glow" or "tint" in the images. This is probably from using Tungsten (normal) bulbs for your lighting.
Set your camera to "K" or the lightbulb for your white balance, and take a few more photos.
After that, I think you will like the results even more!

The 3200 is very similar to the 3100. Here is a portion of the review of the 3100 (regarding White Balance): www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikoncp3100/page11.aspThere are settings for "Incandescent" and "Fluorescent", but more importantly there is a MANUAL SETTING that you can preset your photos to use. If you look at the review (follow the link) you can see the difference in "whiteness" between the computer selections and the manual mode. The Macro on the 3200 looks very good. You may want to adjust the "Sharpness" so that the images are not "soft" coming out of the camera. For the price, I think the 3200 is an amazing camera. It also gets points for being extremely portable (it's tiny!) Dave.
