He seems to have been around for quite some time. I'm not saying his prices are the best (mix of good and average prices), but he does have a few watches in stock that I have not found anywhere else.

What I looked at his prices were competitive. Some the same as I found at best price and a few a little higher. I am not one to turn down a bargain but when a friend matches or comes close, I will deal with the friend. So, I will give our sponsors first crack in any case. ;D

I don't want anyone to misunderstand me. Obviously I will buy where I find the "much better" price. I, as I am sure everyone in this forum understands that at times any specific dealer may sell even at a loss to clear out unwanted stock. In those instances, you or any other vendor could not be expected to price match. It also I think, would be understood by you or any vendor that one would go after the deal. I stand by my words. I would give you and every other sponsor my first look. If the difference in price is significant, I will give you and those other sponsors the opportunity to make your very best offer. And, if we are close, I am going to go with the sponsor. In that same light, if my locally owned stores could do the same, I would support my local merchant. The fact is, most of the time they can not. In the few cases that they do, I buy from them.
